The audition fee is $75. This one-time fee covers your audition registration, access to all audition dates, the audition packet (music and materials you will be evaluated on), and a Legacy T-shirt.

Frequently asked questions

Legacy Production Company will be operating out of the Mater Lakes Academy Middle/High School located in 17300 NW 87TH AVE, HIALEAH, FL 33015.

Winds: Bring your instrument, pencils, a binder with your sheet music and sheet protectors, your audition music (provided in this packet), and water.
Percussion: Bring your sticks/mallets, pencils, a binder with your sheet music and sheet protectors, your audition music (provided in this packet), and water.

Winds: There is no age limit for winds performers.
Percussion: As per WGI stipulations, performers shall not be over 22 years of age as of 12:01 AM on April 1, 2025. There is no bottom age limit to audition or attend the clinics, though most performers who end up making the ensemble tend to be age 15+.

It is highly recommended that prospective members attend all two audition days. If you have a schedule conflict, you may still audition but must communicate any conflicts with your prospective caption head as early as possible.

Rehearsals will be held on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) starting on Dec.06, 2025 , from 10 AM to 8 PM (Sat) 10:00 AM to 6pm (Sun).

These are other Key Dates but are subject to change:
- Design Camp: January 02-04
- WGI Orlando Regional: February 21–22
- FFCC Championships: March 28–29(TBD)
- WGI World Championships (Dayton, OH): April 15–19

Auditions will be evaluated based on musical proficiency, visual performance, and overall potential. Judges will be looking for technique, accuracy, expression, and the ability to perform as part of a group.

Yes. Legacy is always looking for Visual Ensemble members in both Winds and Percussion. If you are interested in auditioning for VE, please make sure to select Legacy VE on your audition registration form and purchase the related packet.
